I have to agree with you. In PvP, you're only as strong as your weakest link. It'd be different if this guild was saying, "Hey, XYZ, lets go teach you how to PvP." Then, if she continually fails, she learns from it. But, from what I'm seeing, the guild was trying to win. She may or may not have had any idea of what she was doing, but obviously she wasn't participating enough to achieve the ultimate goal of winning and was left behind.

Cut the weakest link and the whole team will be better.

I have a motto, if you can't handle someone being mean to you, the internet is not for you. I feel this is one of those cases. I don't see why it was necessary to boot someone because they "left without your daughter", because the way I see it, everyone was fulfilling their job in PvP ----- Except your daughter.

Just an outsiders perspective.

I've never cried on GW. I met my boyfriend on GW, and my emotions are tied into it, but I don't think anyone could make me cry through it. I've lost friends on it, but that's their own undoing. It sucks, yeah, but life goes on. I've been booted out of Pugs, PvP groups, you name it. Never once cried.

I learned from it, I guess.

This isnt really a constructive comment is it? really..

It's not just a game to some people, you make friends and relationships with people within the game.

There not crying about the game but about what the people do in it.

I havent cryed over guild wars, or anything like that really, but i think people with the attitude you have are stupid, and I'm sure there are 'pathetic' things you cry about that most people would laugh at.

So in other words, grow up and try to keep your stupid comments to yourself.

I know I was a bit in a crying mood when I finally finished The Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time. Love that game.

I cried in vent when my guild leader sang Barbie Girl. She umm isnt the best singer..and i also cried when i found out my old guild leader of two years kicked everyone from the guild..hilarious lol

In all seriousness, people cry at thing they are emotionally invested in. Of course if one is emotionally invested enough in a video game to cry about it, then they are too emotionally invested in that game. It really is a sign of immaturity to get that attached to a video game.

I did get misty-eyed when we found Gwen's old buried flute in "Then and Now, Here and There." I'm rather attached to poor Gwennie, and I dunno exactly why, but that moment and that line of story progression from pre-Searing to EotN just hit me emotionally.

I didn't sit down and have an ugly cry or anything, but I admit to some eye moisture.

I almost cried for the first time in 10+ years, after hearing "Here comes the sun"... Just like many times before, one of those pleasant death songs has almost brought me to tears.

Last time I remember crying was in Scotland, during the tall ships festival in Aberdeen, 1998. They had some 2-3lb (currency LOLZ) local concert, and this guy on the guitar had the mega-death folklore chant.

Oh, the memories. I did almost cry to, because I loved the ending. The game took me 3 years to beat, no guides, and I was 10 lol.

I personally haven't cried in the Guild Wars. But, during 1 GvG I was guesting with, one the guild members was screaming into the mic and yelling at this girl and he made her cry. I got teared up a bit, because that dude was an idiot.

no.. i think that people who claim to make legit relationships online is pathetic. If thats your only mean of social interaction might as well myspace or twitter or w/e. If your on vent whats so hard to talk to another persons face directly... for that matter just go outside to a bar.... surely your personality will pick up someone ROFL

How is it pathetic? Even though you may be behind a screen, you are talking to other real people.

I'm not one of those people, but just saying it isn't so bad having online "friends".

My first guild had a lot of good, well mannered, mature members (most being 20+ years old helps) and we all talked outside of GW too. When people don't spend the majority of their time and energy trolling online they can easily come across other like-minded people and develop a friendship.

Try it sometime.

Never cried over this game, but I guess it can happen if you're over sensitive.

Actually the thing I can remember that got me closest to crying was when a friend had decided to Vanquish the final 4 or so areas in Tyria by himself, while we had done almost all the rest of Tyria together, and he had promised to finish with me. I wasn't crying, just extremely disappointed in how a person can choose a dumb title over friendship.
I just Vanquished the final 4 areas myself that day and been Vanquishing solo from then on.

So crying at sad movies or book is also a sign of immaturity? Because I really don't see any difference between that and crying to a game since all are just sources of entertainment..

Anyways I cried of annoyance at Dhuum. That guy is so freaking annoying that you can't even spell it without either breaking someones skull or bursting into tears... XD

i ahvn't cried but i've felt awful because someone decided to be rude, in your case maybe the guy just had a lotta pressure building up? things like this happened anywhere but there are still lots more nice and friendly players, a lot lto more than there are rude people. since PvP is competetive you tend to just get more competitive personalities there.
